XRP Pillar Plug Continuous Cable Rewire – Rega Arms

I use this acetal plug when rewiring Rega arms with a continuous length of Cardas 33awg shielded cable (listed separately). The central hole is 6.5mm diameter. It can also be used as a convenient position to join an internal and external cable. The part is a direct replacement for the Rega, NAD, Goldring and Moth plug which has the small PCB.

Photo shows the plug on its own, and above, how it would look with a loom fitted. Price is for ONE PLUG. You are not buying cable or anything else.

It can also be used if you want to join a different cable for the external run. A typical cable loom is shown – this is not part of the sale. I usually strain relieve the cable with a nylon tie just after the heatshrunk collars inside the arm. Once secured by the grub screw in the arm base, your precious cable is secure from accidental pullout.

Should you require a larger central hole to accomodate a larger diameter cable, let me know what it is, I will customise the part for you. Please allow an additional 7 days to do this work.

I do not earth rewired arms at this plug (unlike the Incognito loom), only at the arm itself and at the phono plugs, this ensures star earthing within the preamplifier. The RB251 now has a plastic outer arm pillar and the Incognito loom would not be earthed as intended.
